The belief that is being discussed is the Belief of Freedom. The essay was a very nice way to show how liberty is very much like freedom as well as how life can have so much freedom and he discusses that he believes lots of people to have freedom and freedom of speech and also he believes in the pursuit of happiness which is forgiveness and to keep searching for what you seek. I really like the vocabulary he used which made his essay very detailed and his believes and what he had to say about them were good beliefs which also interested me as well. He also put the meaning of equality in his essay
